“In this hard gloomy world with all the harsh news on the background, it’s like I can bathe in a bath of softness, fluidity and joy when looking at your paintings.” 🥰
That was what the presenter said during my interview in his radio program at @rtvapeldoorn . We had a surprisingly beautiful conversation and these words made a deep impression on me. I never thought about my art in that way. As an escape at home from the daily harsh news from all over the world.
☘️ And so… it became one of my personal highlights of last year.
(Actually it’s on number 4 of my list with highlights, which I posted yesterday. )
🎨 The radio presenter didn’t mention one of my pieces in particular, but in my head I’ve connected this painting on his quote. Maybe because I just finished it at that time. And maybe because this one resonates most with my idea of a warm bath of softness, fluidity and joy.
