An easy chair crafted by a student at the school for the ”deaf-mute” in the Swed Show Content
An easy chair crafted by a student at the school for the ”deaf-mute” in the Swedish town of Vänersborg. (At the time, this term was commonly used for deaf individuals, despite the fact that they were not literally mute.) Unfortunately, very little is known about this photograph, and the name of the student behind this impressive apprentice’s examination work remains a mystery. While the exact year is uncertain, it was most likely created sometime in the 1940s.
