Perennial gardens. Beautiful, abundant, colorful but sometimes demanding. This is what perennial flower beds are like. They decorate the garden from early spring to late autumn. They require a bit of work, because you have to weed them regularly (only at the beginning, over time they become so thick that the weeds will lose them), prune some faded perennials (of course I don't do it and they still bloom beautifully) to stimulate the plants to bloom again, but they are worth it these treatments! They bring lightness, variability, color, scent and texture to our gardens. Some are melliferous, attracting beneficial insects. Lots of advantages! My favorite perennials are: Lavenders, purple coneflowers, penstemons, various grasses, i.e. Chinese miscanthus, stipes, autumn sessleria, daredevils, hakonechloa and I also love speedwells, gaurs, cranesnakes, hostas (funkies) and many many others πΊπΏπ± What are your beloved perennials, why do they eat them? do you like it?
