It’s another beautiful, blue sky, sunny morning here.
We have some really hot weather coming our way in the next week.
I haven’t been back to the farmers markets for quite a few weeks and ironically this Saturday they’re predicting 38° !
I don’t seem to have much luck weather wise when it’s my weekend to go 🤦🏼♀️😂
I won’t be hanging around for too long that’s for sure… I’ll grab what I need and skeedaddle back home again into the cool.
I’ve spent about ten minutes this morning watching the little honey birds through my kitchen window.
They’re flitting from my agapanthus (they love sticking their beaks deep down inside the flowers for the nectar) and then back into the water for a bath, they’re loving it !
There’s no rain on the horizon so I’ll be back outside watering again shortly.
It’s a full time job trying to keep everything alive… I was still outside moving the sprinkler around at 9pm last night !
A nice drop of rain would be wonderful !
I moved some more outside furniture around again yesterday and I’m finally happy with my little back deck area.
I love having lots of little spots around the garden where I can just sit and relax for awhile, maybe even get time to read a book !
I think I only read one book last year… I just didn’t have the time !
This year I’m hoping to remedy that… I really love reading, I’ve got some fabulous books that I’m keen to get started on.
I hope you all find time this year to do more of the things that you love.
Life is so fast, we owe it to ourselves to pull over into the slow lane more often.
