It is the last day of the week and I cannot wait for the day to end. It’s been challenging but fun at the same time.
I’m looking forward to helping my aunt in the take away tonight. Then after hopefully if things plan out, I’ll catch up with my mate for a hour or so. I do however feel a bit behind on house chores haha…
It was about a year an half ago or so, I discovered my work colleague, Kathleen and I were born in the same hospital in Scotland.
After a bit more talking, I found out that when she visits home, she orders from the Chinese Takeaway where my family first started, The Wokee.
My family learned how to cook, how to prepare the ingredients, and learned the trade before we opened our own in England. Our first takeaway supported three young and growing families, and built a small business empire to support everyone. That’s how we all started, from the bottom and worked our asses off with blood and sweat.
